Maranatha SDA Church host clothing drive
JACKSON, Tenn.—One local church gives back to the community.
The Maranatha Seventh Day Adventist Church hosts a special giveaway today.
The event took place from 11 this morning until 5:00 this evening at 520 South Royal Street in Jackson.
The giveaway consists of various free clothing items available in multiple sizes and for all ages.
Members of the church worked diligently to collect new or gently used clothing items over the course of two weeks to provide the giveaway to the community.
“If someone has the misfortune of sometimes fire, theft, you can contact us at that number or come to the church and we’ll see about getting some things that you need,” said Nathaniel Nespitt, Deacon at Maranatha Church.
Maranatha SDA Church graciously hosts several community outreach events all throughout the year. The clothing giveaways happen two to three times per year.
For those who wish to drop off gently used items, they can do so on Wednesdays between 2-3pm.
Or contact Patricia Harveston at the community center by phoning (731) 267-0651.
