Historic Lantern Walk to be held at Parkers Crossroads Battlefield
PARKERS CROSSROADS, Tenn. — Mark your calendars for a Historic Lantern Walk of haunting tales.
The Historic Lantern Walk takes place on October 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the Parkers Crossroads Civil War Battlefield.
It will be a night under the stars filled with campfire musicians, sing-alongs, and spine-chilling stories.
The event involves a guided tour through six scenes, recounting tales of the spirits at Parkers Crossroads, brought to life by performers from the LHS Beta Club.
“These are the outstanding students from the beta club who are very talented and it’s exciting to think about what they’re able to do with the history that they’ve learned and studied here at the battle of Parkers Crossroads,” said Steve McDaniel, city manager for City of Parkers Crossroads.
Admission is free, so bring your family and friends for an evening of music and storytelling.
