731 Crime Stoppers invites community to Monsters Ball
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Madison County Sheriff’s Department is having an inaugural spooky event for a great cause.
731 Crime Stoppers will have their Monsters Ball on Saturday, October 19 at the New Southern Hotel.
It’s encouraged for guest to dress up in their best spooky attire with prizes for best male and best female costumes. Tables of 8 cost $800 and tickets are $100 and admission includes food and open seating. This event will take the place of law enforcement ball.
“The money we raise goes towards our Crime Stoppers reward fund. That’s how we pay rewards for the crimes that we’ve helped investigators solve. Right now we’re offering a 500 dollar incentive for someone who turns in somebody with fentanyl. We make an arrest and recover the fentanyl it’s an automatic 500 dollars. Hopefully that goes well enough we can get some criminals off the street,” said Mike Johnson, director for 731 Crime Stoppers.
