Annual Jacob Barker Music Festival returning to The AMP

JACKSON, Tenn. — An annual festival supporting a great cause is returning to the Hub City.

The 2024 Jacob Barker Music Festival will be held at The AMP in downtown Jackson on October 11 & 12.

The festival, a yearly event for nearly the past decade, helps raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The inspiration comes from co-founder Ronnie Barker’s son, who was a Make-A-Wish recipient.

More than a dozen bands and music artists will take the stage over the two-day festival, kicking off at 5 p.m. on Friday the 11th and 3 p.m. on Saturday the 12th.

Along with live music, guests can also expect food, drinks and family fun.

On Saturday, there will also be face painting, cornhole, and a silent auction on site.

The festival is free to attend, however donations are encouraged throughout the event. No outside food or drinks will be allowed.
