Halloween 2024: Spooky Season must-haves

JACKSON, Tenn. — From lovable characters, to crazy and creepy, the toy industry’s premier player dishes the scary “Scoop” on all-things-dress-up.

Fall is in full swing and Halloween “Happenings” are almost here. Each year, kids of all ages, as well as adults, set out on a quest for the creepiest, craziest and most-memorable costumes.  Costumes, whether sci-fi, show, or movie themed, should be comfortable and creative.

What does your child like? A particular plush, a superhero or perhaps a tv character? Go for it.

It’s wise to choose stretchy material or anything that can be layered with warmer clothes if the weather demands it.

“The whole family, including our furry pets, are getting in on the action so amazing costumes for parents, for kids, for grandparents and for our fur babies so everyone now creates those memories together,” said Elizabeth Werner, toy industry expert.

It’s time to put down devices, go out as a family, and meet new people.
