Information on items to donate to victims of Hurricane Helene in east Tennessee
In a Facebook post, the City of Jackson’s Fire Department, in collaboration with Jackson Energy Authority and Serra of Jackson will hold a joint Donation Drive Saturday, October 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Serra of Jackson, 189 Stonebridge Blvd., Jackson, TN.
Items you can donate for victims in east Tennessee include:
Food/Drink:
-Water
-Sports drinks
-Soft drinks
-Boxed juice drinks
-Non perishable canned foods that can be eaten without cooking
-Baby formula (sensitive tummy)
-Peanut butter
-Jelly
-Sandwich bread
-Snack cakes
Personal hygiene:
-Body wipes
-Baby wipes
-All sizes of baby diapers
-All sizes of adult diapers
-Hand sanitizer
-Hand soap
-Toilet paper
Cleaning Supplies:
-Bleach
-Disinfecting wipes
-Cleaning sprays
-Mops/brooms
-Floor cleaner
-Cleaning supplies that can be used without running water
