VSS Dance holds Hip-Hop Workshop with choreographer Brice Stone

JACKSON, Tenn. — A local dance studio welcomes a promising dancer to the Hub City for dance lessons.

VSS Dance hosted a hip hop workshop for ages 2 to teenagers. This was an opportunity for dancers to work with Brice Stone, who has earned prestigious awards in the dance world. Stone demonstrated the dance for students and then the dancers performed full out.

Dancer were able to learn rigorous moves to perform at the end of the class.

“My favorite thing about teaching classes is just to see the difference in kids from the start to the end. Because they can come in with a really, really bad day and then they can come in here and start dancing and there whole attitude is just lifted. Their whole everything has been changed, and that right there means the most to me in the world,” said Stone.

Stone’s next involvement will be with “NutRemix,” a spin on the classical Nutcracker.
