Bethel University’s Homecoming week kicks off October 27
MCKENZIE, Tenn. — It’s almost time for one local college to celebrate “all things Bethel.”
Sunday, October 27 will begin Bethel University’s Homecoming week. The theme for this year is “Proud to be a Wildcat.”
“We’ve got Tie-Dyes and Tacos, where we’re gonna tie dye some Homecoming shirts so students can get involved,” said Bethel’s interim marketing director Ryan Griffin.
That activity will happen on Wednesday, October 30 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Thursday, October 31, there will be a costume contest from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the VLOW lobby.
A yard show will also take place that evening at 7:30.
Griffin said that one event you don’t want to miss is the Worship with Renaissance on November 1.
“It is an event where you can come and worship with our Renaissance program, that’s on Friday night. Along with our Alumni Banquet as well as our Hall of Fame,” Griffin said. “Our theme this year is Proud to be a Wildcat, so we invite everybody to come out and show their support for being a wildcat at Bethel University.”
Homecoming will close out that Saturday, November 2 with a football game beginning at 1 in the afternoon.
