Fun Day coming to Sheltering Tree Ranch this weekend

SAVANNAH, Tenn. — Mark your calendars! The Sheltering Tree Ranch Family Fun Day is taking place October 12.

The 12th annual event will be from 10 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon.

Fun Day features family-friendly events such as an on-foot rodeo.

There will also be a petting zoo, sensory stations, face painting, a car and motorcycle show, plus more.

Sheltering Tree Ranch is dedicated to providing a supportive environment for children and adults with unique challenges through their autism and learning challenge education center.

“Bobbie Ann and I, the founders of Sheltering Tree, had a dream and desire to build a place and a ranch by the Lord’s vision to have a place for special needs kids,” said Dave Boroughs.

Now they have a 50-acre location in Savannah.
