Madison County Highway Department announces closure of Perry Switch Road beginning October 10
PRESS RELEASE FROM MADISON COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT:
MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — Madison County Highway Superintendent Bart Walls has authorized the closure of Perry Switch Road for a railroad crossing repair, approx. 1,200 feet west of the intersection with Roberts Lane on Thursday October 10, 2024 at 8:30 am.
The work is expected to be completed and the road re-opened by the end of the workday on TUESDAY, October 15, 2024.
Traffic that normally travels Perry Switch Road coming from Jackson should detour by way of Chester Levee Road to Harts Bridge Road. Traffic coming from the east may bypass Perry Switch Road and travel Harts Bridge Road or detour through Roberts Lane to Harts Bridge Road from Perry Switch Road. There will be detour route signage redirecting traffic at Perry Switch Road and Chester Levee Road as well as at Perry Switch Road and Harts Bridge Road and at Perry Switch Road and Roberts Lane.
