State Representative Moody Recognized
On Thursday, October 10, 2024, Chairwoman Debra Moody of the Tennessee House of Representatives was recognized by the 28th Judicial District District Attorney General, Frederick Agee, and West Tennessee Violent Crime and Drug Task Force Director, Johnie Carter, during a presentation held at Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis. Chairwoman Moody was honored for her support of law enforcement and public service to the People of Haywood and Tipton counties. Chairwoman Moody serves as the Chair of the House of Representatives Education Instruction Committee and as a member of the Criminal Justice Committee.
The West Tennessee Violent Crime and Drug Task Force is made up of the 28th, 29th, & 30th Judicial Districts and covers, Shelby, Dyer, Lake, Crockett, Gibson, and Haywood counties.
