12-year-old struck by vehicle in Crockett Co.

CROCKETT CO., Tenn.—We were informed of a 12-year-old in Crockett county who was air lifted to LeBonheur Children’s Hospital earlier today.

According to the Crockett County Sheriff’s Department, a 12-year-old ran into oncoming traffic on Highway 412 around 3:30 Saturday afternoon.

The driver of vehicle stated he saw the child and slowed down.

The child stopped briefly then darted out in front of the car.

Our sources tell us that the child is in stable condition.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured and no citations were issued.
