The first haunted car wash in the area was a hit, complete with pirates, skeletons, and ghostly surprises at every turn—or should we say every scrub?
Mayor Scott Conger himself dared to face the haunted seas, sailing through Peppy’s spooky tunnel with his family in tow. While the pirates tried their best to shiver the Mayor’s timbers, Scott, as fearless as he is friendly, survived the ghastly crew without so much as a scratch!
The opening weekend saw families, teens, and thrill-seekers alike rolling through the Tunnel of Terror for a car wash experience unlike any other. The pirate-themed attraction features eerie lighting, animatronic sea creatures, and a crew of costumed “ghouls” bringing the thrills.
From spooky skeletons to haunted pirate captains, there was no shortage of creepy fun—and even some laughs—throughout the event. But fear not! The pirates may have taken over, but the quality car wash Peppy’s is known for was in full force, leaving customers with spotless rides despite the ghastly scares.

Families, friends, and thrill-seekers ventured through the eerie tunnel, where foggy decks, glowing treasure chests, and creepy characters awaited their arrival.
