Co-chairs discuss upcoming Tennessee State Games at rotary meeting
JACKSON, Tenn. — A local meeting was held to discuss next year’s exciting event for Tennesseans.
The Jackson Rotary Club met at First United Methodist Church. The speakers for the evening were co-chairs for next year’s Tennessee State Games event Lindsay Dawkins and Ryan Blake.
The pair spoke on how Jackson is the chosen city to host the games for the state of Tennessee.
Registration will begin in December of this year which they stated will be posted on a website when all of the information is finalized.
“When you do some of the math of events that are already happening here, we will have a lot of athletes, but it will be a growth pattern throughout the next few years,” said Dawkins.
Some sports will include pickleball, cornhole, soccer, tennis and track and field.
