Community mourns unexpected loss of young woman
JACKSON, Tenn. — A community is mourning the loss of a young West Tennessee woman.
According to her obituary, 25-year-old Rainey Jo McCord died on Monday, October 14.
Her obituary states McCord was known for her kind heart, contagious laughter and beautiful smile, and was a free soul who loved everyone she met.
She loved her dog, her family and friends with everything in her heart.
Her obit mentions her sweet and silly spirit and that she will be greatly missed.
While the circumstances surrounding her death are unclear at this time, we spoke to the Chester County Sheriff’s Office earlier this week, who confirmed there is an active investigation.
