42nd Annual Jackson Toy Run
JACKSON Tenn. — It’s all toys for kids in the Hub City at the 42nd Annual Jackson Toy Run. Bikers ride from the Jackson Towne Centre to Red Dog Bar & Grill, who is hosting this toy run along with Exit 87 BBQ.
There were raffle tickets for door prizes, food, and live music by Mitch Harris. Residents tell us it’s a way for them to give back to a great cause.
“You don’t have to have a motorcycle. You don’t have to ride a motorcycle..You don’t have to do any of that. What you have to do is have a heart, and be willing to support a worthy cause and walk in here prepared to build with your heart and not your pocketbook,” said Richie Lee, auctioneer for benefits in West Tennessee.
The silent live auction is happening Saturday October 19th at 6pm, and all proceeds benefit St. Jude. Amy Williamson, A volunteer for the St Jude benefit tells us even though covid reduced their numbers the attendance at this event seems to get bigger every year.
