Henderson County’s Family Justice Center now open

LEXINGTON, Tenn. — The Henderson County Family Justice Center opened Monday.

Located at 340 Natchez Trace Drive in Lexington, the center’s purpose is to serve survivors of domestic, elder and sexual abuse as well as human trafficking and children of said survivors.

This center allows anyone to seek various services at its centralized location and it’s the 14th family justice center to open in the state of Tennessee.

“The services are free and confidential from this location and it’s to have folks to not have to travel all over town to try to seek the services needed to break free from unhealthy relationships,” said Penny Hensley, director for the center.

Services include WRAP, West Tennessee Legal Services, the 26th District Attorney’s office, the Lexington Police Department, and the Henderson County Sheriff’s Department.
