Over $35,000 awarded to local educators through L.E.A.D.S. Grant Program

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Leaders Education Foundation hosted their L.E.A.D.S. Grants Reception Tuesday.

The Leaders Education Foundation awarded more than $35,000 to West Tennessee educators through the L.E.A.D.S. Grant Program. This initiative empowers students to learn, experience, advocate, dream and serve.

They believe in investing in local communities through scholarships, grants and educational program support to provide educational opportunities promoting lifelong learning for students, teachers and our community.

“It’s gotten bigger every year. The first year we did this we gave away $10,000 now we’re giving away $35,000 as we continue to grow. So, it’s just getting better and better and we’re very excited about the initiatives and giving back to educators throughout west tennessee,” said Leigh Anne Bentley, president of the Leaders Education Foundation.
