Community gathers for frightening fun during 11th Annual Boo Bash

MCKENZIE, Tenn. — One local town gathered in McKenzie for a fright filled night of fun.

Residents in downtown McKenzie this evening celebrated their 11th annual Boo Bash. Guests got to enjoy some old fashioned frightening fun with trunk or treat, haunted train rides and more. Children were also able to compete in a costume contest.

The McKenzie fire and police departments were also there giving away free food for guests.

“We have a lot of business here we have a lot of the fraternities and sororities from bethel here, so it’s great it really is we have a ladies organization beta sigma fie that’s here every year they do there little cake walk over there so I mean it’s always fun,” said Jennifer Waldrup, event organizer for the Boo Bash.

Bethel fraternities and sororities also brought their own games and food for guests.
