Bond set at $250,000 for suspect in attempted murder

JACKSON, Tenn. — A suspect in an attempted murder from earlier this month was arraigned in Jackson City Court Friday morning.

24-year-old Quoterrius Osler was booked into the Madison County jail on Thursday.

According to a warrant, around 8:30 p.m. on October 11, Jackson Police officers were dispatched to the area of Chapel Ridge Apartments in reference to a shooting.

The warrant states officers arrived to find two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were transported to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital to be treated for their injuries.

According to the warrant, one of the victims advised that one of the shooters was a Black male with dreadlocked hair, who shot an AR style weapon.

The warrant states the victim identified a picture of Osler on his Facebook page, naming him as one of the shooters.

Osler appeared in court virtually Friday in front of Judge Blake Anderson.

Osler had a bond set at $250,000, and currently remains in custody at the Madison County jail.
