Camden residents gather for ‘Halloween on the Square’
CAMDEN, Tenn. — Halloween is quickly approaching and one town prepares with a night full of frights.
Residents gathered in downtown Camden Monday evening for ‘Halloween on the Square.’ The Camden Police Department was giving out candy alongside other Camden first responders and businesses in the community. There was good fun and games for the whole family to enjoy.
Guests were also encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes. One of the main attractions was the annual ‘Terror in the Square’ haunted house.
“The first year I was so terrified, I didn’t want to dress up. I didn’t want to do anything. I was about to be a cashier and then last minute decided to be a monster,” said Paislee Holland, ‘Dolly’ character actress for Terror on the Square.
“I wasn’t that scared, you know, I mean, I was a little scared. Ok I was a lot scared, it was very scary, very scary experience,” said Nick Coats, ‘Butcher’ character actor for Terror on the Square.
The actors say they look forward to terrifying more guests next year.
