A warm and breezy start to the morning area wide as a very slow moving trough gradually advances east towards the Mid-Mississippi River Valley. There a chance of a rogue/brief shower or two mainly along the MS River or west of Highway 45W. By an large the better threat of rain will be tomorrow, especially by lunchtime and after through the day. Overnight sounding don’t produce a lot of instability therefore storms aren’t necessarily a big threat, however efficient convergence and moisture flux along the trough will aid in areas of heavy rain when scattered pockets do manage to develop by lunchtime, continuing into the afternoon of Election Day.  If you need to vote still, the morning is your best bet on staying drier…
