Madison County Fire, JMCSS partner for winter coat drive
JACKSON, Tenn. — As winter approaches, local groups are working to make sure children stay warm.
The Madison County Fire Department announced they have partnered with the Jackson-Madison County School System for a winter coat drive.
They say the drive aims to support 130 local children who need winter coats.
The community is asked to show their generosity and support by stepping forward and sponsoring a child.
Those interested can reach out to Jennifer Anderson at the Fire Department, at (731) 424-5577, for more information and sizes needed. The school system has requested no hooded jackets.
Donations will be accepted through November 18; coats can be dropped off at the Madison County Fire Department, or a pick-up can be arranged.
