Rock N’ Roll Sushi to help nonprofit with fundraising campaign
JACKSON, Tenn. — An out-of-the-box sushi company launches an initiative to raise funds for an immersive learning experiences for students.
Rock N’ Roll Sushi is partnering with Reach and Teach, a nonprofit dedicated to providing students with the tools to plan, promote and execute a real concert on their school campus, for a fundraising campaign throughout November.
Guests at Rock N’ Roll Sushi locations nationwide can participate by rounding up their purchases to the nearest dollar. The beloved sushi brand will match all roundup donations, up to $10,000.
“The way that it works is a school will go ahead and they wanna join us, submit an application to Reach and Teach and then they narrow it down, and the lucky winners get some hands on help, and they get the lovely donations that have been given and they get to rock out,” said Jennifer Bentley, owner of Rock N’ Roll Sushi Vanderbilt and Hendersonville.
Reach and Teach connects students with interactive learning opportunities and encourages creativity, problem-solving and critical thinking with a focus on promoting entrepreneurship and practical skills among students.
