Former WWE wrestler turned mayor visits the Hub City to share his story

JACKSON, Tenn. — One former WWE wrestler, now mayor, visited the Hub City.

Glenn Jacobs also known as “Kane” took the time to visit the Jackson Rotary Club Wednesday afternoon. During this visit he spoke on his life and how he was able to accomplish the American dream.

“I found something I was good at, got some opportunities, was able to travel the world and entertain folks all over the world. Provide my family with a very good life, things I never thought I could do when I was a kid. That is because of the American dream. You have the opportunity, you have the skills and the tools to do something, you work hard, that’s what it’s all about,” said Mayor Jacobs.

Jacobs is currently serving his second term as Knox County mayor.
