West TN Veterans Coalition prepares for ‘Salute to Our Veterans Military Ball’

JACKSON, Tenn. — The West Tennessee Veterans Coalition is getting ready to present their Salute to Our Veterans Military Ball.

The event is set for November 23 at Madison Downs in Jackson. It includes a cocktail hour at 6 p.m. and a plated dinner at 7 p.m. The guest speaker is CW5 retired Douglas Englen, the flight lead during the 2011 Bin Laden raid.

This year, there’ll also be a photographer set up for guests to have their photo taken but that’s not all.

“We’re also having a silent auction. It’s got some really good things in it but we’re also going to have a live auction,” said Larry Newsom, co-chair WTVC.

Best of all, 100% of the proceeds from this event benefit the West Tennessee Veterans Coalition’s Veterans In Crisis fund.
