YMCA’s ‘The Wagers’ night kicks off in Jackson
JACKSON, Tenn. — An unforgettable night of fun and games kicked off at the McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport, all while raising money for a well-know organization.
This one-of-a-kind fundraiser called ‘The Wagers’ benefits the YMCA of Memphis and the Mid-South. It’s where casino night meets the mystery and allure of a speakeasy. There were casino games, food, music, circus acts and more.
“The Jackson community is giving to all nonprofits in our community and we are just grateful they showed up. It will definitely be happening next year, so mark your calendars sometime mid-November, and of course the location is a secret,” said Dave Bratcher, senior vice president for West Tennessee Development for YMCA Memphis Mid-South.
The funds raised from this evening will directly support the YMCA’s work in West Tennessee.
