Collection day to be held for local blessing boxes

JACKSON, Tenn. — Your generosity could help bless a local family this holiday season.

A donation collection day will be held on Saturday, November 23 in Jackson, to collect items to fill blessing boxes in the area.

“Take what you need – give what you can” — these self-serve boxes, found in neighborhoods or outside local businesses, provide basic needs for anyone who could benefit.

From 7:30-10:30 a.m., The Satellite Clinic will be parked outside Kroger at 41 Stonebrook Place, collecting ready-to-use, non-perishable items.

Needed items include:

  • Ramen Packets
  • Peanut Butter
  • Mac & Cheese
  • Canned Fruit
  • Canned Vegetables
  • Canned Meats
  • Beef Jerky
  • Juice Boxes

  • Shelf-Stable Milk & Dairy
  • Chili
  • Ravioli
  • Manwich
  • Peanut Butter Crackers
  • Cheese Crackers
  • Popcorn
  • Pop Tarts
  • Oatmeal
  • Mustard
