Betty J. Bobbitt, age 80, of Hickory Valley, Tennessee departed this life Monday, November 18, 2024 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

Betty was born January 23, 1944 in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Herman Polk Hill and Annie Mae Pleasants Hill. She graduated from Collierville High School and was employed at Troxel for over thirty years. Betty enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, joking around, yard work, and especially loved dancing.

Ms. Bobbitt is survived by her true love, Kenny Bobbitt; two daughters, Stephanie Heismann (Jeff) and Kristy Berretta (David); her sister, Shirley Smith; sister-in-law, Dorothy Caglehill; four grandchildren, Cody Heismann (Katie), Brittany Berretta, Wesley Berretta (Taylor), Drew Heismann, William Kyser, Tyler Kyser and Skyla Kyser; and four great grandchildren, Ember, Gunner, Bentley and Avery.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Cora Lewis and Kathy Hill and two brothers, David Hill and Mark Hill.

A visitation for Ms. Bobbitt will be from 1 until 2 P.M. Friday, November 22, 2024 at Peebles Main Chapel in Somerville. Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Friday, November 22, 2024 at Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville. Interment will follow in the Pleasants Christian Cemetery in Macon.

Those honored to be pallbearers will be Wesley Berretta, William Kyser, David Berretta, Cody Heismann, Drew Heismann and Jeff Heismann. Honorary pallbearers will include Kenny Bobbitt.
