City leaders provide update on Jackson’s Great Wolf Lodge location

UPDATE(12/10/24): We contacted Great Wolf Lodge to ask for an update on the Jackson location and received a statement. They had this this to say:

We’re excited about the prospect of bringing a Great Wolf Lodge to the city of Jackson and providing more families an opportunity to experience our renowned indoor water park resort.  We are very appreciative of the tremendous support from the city, county and state as we continue to make progress to bring this project closer to reality, including recently purchasing the land and the start of some initial site preparation work. We are exploring an expansive project that would bring an estimated 450,000 square-feet of family fun to the region, and there are a few vital steps still ahead of us before we are able to provide a more definitive update or timeline for the project.

EARLIER STORY(11/21/24):

JACKSON, Tenn. — City leaders say the Great Wolf Lodge is one step closer to coming to the Hub City.

Jackson Mayor Scott Conger told City Budget Committee members Thursday that Great Wolf has closed on the purchase of the property. The city is anticipating Great Wolf will bring tourism and additional revenue to Jackson.

We’ve reached out to Great Wolf for a comment and progress updates, however, we haven’t received any additional information from them yet.
