USJ’s Holiday Mart is now open with over 100 vendors to choose from

JACKSON, Tenn. — Holiday shoppers, get ready! If you haven’t heard, the USJ Holiday Mart is now open and inside you can find a gift for everyone on your list this year.

The University School of Jackson is hosting their annual USJ Holiday Mart from Friday, November 22 to Sunday, November 24 at the Carl Perkins Civic Center. The Holiday Mart features more than 100 vendors this year.

“A lot of the local boutiques are set up here so you can buy clothing, there is a lot of those. Everything from candles to knives to all sorts of holiday items for the family. Decorations, ornaments – all the things that go with Christmas,” said Don Roe, head of USJ.

Friday and Saturday, shoppers will be able to get in the doors from 9:00 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Sunday, the Holiday Mart is open from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. The event is supported by the parents’ club.

“This is the biggest fundraiser of the year. It funds everything from playgrounds to technology, to our library program to transportation. All things that benefit the students at USJ,” said Roe.

You must have a ticket to shop. Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the door for $12. To purchase your ticket ahead of time, click here.

In addition to the many vendors, you can also grab a bite to eat while you shop at Bruin’s Bistro, serving soup, nachos, chicken salad and more.
