Pet of the Week: Indigo
This week’s Pet of the week from Tipton County Animal Shelter is Indigo!
Indigo is the best 80’s hair band frontman you’ll ever meet! Sassy, silly, and ready for a good time – Indigo is looking for her very own fur-ever home!
She is about 2.5-years-old and about 55 pounds of confident sassafras.
She tolerates grooming well and as with any suspected Shepherd/Collie Mix, has hair for days!
She loves to go for rides (especially if there are pup cups and chicken nuggets involved) and enjoys a good adventure!
Indigo takes great interest in the resident mouser cats, so a home without cats would be necessary.
Indigo walks pretty well on a leash, but likes to check in with you throughout the walk by putting her front paws on your waist.
She is a very smart girl and should be pretty easy to train in a home that is consistent with training.
Indigo would be best in a home with older children (middle school aged possibly.)
She gets very excited to see other dogs and plays a bit rough, so a home with a laid back bigger dog, or as an only dog, may be the best fit for her. And a fenced yard is a must!
If Indigo Girl would complete your 80’s hair band, please contact Lee Riley or Amber Smith by calling (901) 837-5919.
