1 airlifted following early morning shooting in Jackson
PRESS RELEASE FROM THE JACKSON POLICE DEPARTMENT:
Liddon Street Shooting Incident
[Jackson, TN] – On November 26, 2024, at approximately 4:52 a.m.. officers with the Jackson Police Department responded to the area of Liddon Street for a shots fired call.
Initially, they did not make contact with any suspects or victims. Shortly thereafter, a black male victim arrived at Jackson General Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.
During the preliminary investigation it was determined the incident occurred inside a residence.
The victim was later airlifted to a hospital in Memphis, TN, where he is in critical but stable condition.
