UPDATE: Multiple injured, including 2-year-old, in north Jackson shooting
UPDATE #2: Jackson Police have confirmed around 3:55 p.m. Tuesday, a shooting occurred in the area of Wallace Road and Fairmeadows Cove. Upon arrival, multiple victims were found suffering from gunshot wounds. An investigation remains ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact JPD at (731) 425-8400 or reach out to Crime Stoppers.
UPDATE #1: Jackson Police have confirmed a shooting took place, and say they are searching for suspect(s) who may be driving a white four-door sedan.
JACKSON, Tenn. — Our crew is responding to a scene in north Jackson where several WBBJ Tipsters have reported a shooting.
Tipsters reported hearing several shots and seeing a medical helicopter land in the area of Tractor Supply off of Carriage House Drive.
Police can be seen blocking through traffic near Fairmeadow Cove and Wallace Road and surrounding areas.
