Hub City businesses prepare for Black Friday, share what deals to expect
JACKSON, Tenn. — There will be no need to miss out on the Thanksgiving football game or to camp out this Black Friday.
A majority of the department stores in the Hub City will be closed Thanksgiving day and opening as early as 5 a.m. for Black Friday.
“Here at Kohl’s, we’re committed to delivering value to our customers and we’re proud to offer deep discounts across the stores in those must-have categories, including apparel. Up to 50% off top toys, a great selection of kitchen appliances, $50 and under. Nearly twice the number of options in gifting and home decor compared to last year,” said Mark Kent, Kohl’s at Jackson store manager.
Along with Kohl’s, JCPenney will be opening at 5 a.m. as well. Also in the Old Hickory Mall, Belk will open at 7 a.m. in The Columns of Jackson. Old Navy will open at 5 a.m.
Kohl’s has deals for the first two hundred customers that enter their store.
“Our first two hundred customers will receive a price card. Every cards a winner and those prizes range from instant Kohl’s cash, up to a family beach trip for six. So get here early we’re excited for a great turnout,” said Kent.
At the Stonebrook location, Burlington will open at 7 a.m. Target will open at 6 a.m. TJ Maxx and Marshal will both open at 7 a.m. Both Lowe’s and Walmart will open at 6 a.m. However, another reminder that Walmart will be closed on Thanksgiving day.
