More Freezing Nights Through The Weekend, Rain Chances Late Next Week
WBBJ 7 Forecast Update
After a frosty night across much of West Tennessee, we saw temperatures climb into the mid-40s. Much of the same is expected over the course of the next several days. A light northwesterly breeze will keep the “feels like” temperature down in the 20s after sunset for much of the weekend. We could even see our first temperatures in the teens of the season Monday night. We have the details for your forecast right here.
Tonight:
Temperatures will fall down to the 20s, with the wind chill being close to the low 20s by sunrise. Skies will remain clear to mostly clear. There is a high chance of frost developing, so make preparations to bring anything sensitive to cold indoors.
The Weekend:
Highs will likely be higher over the weekend, with Saturday being the warmest. Temperatures will top out around the mid to upper 40s in most places. Here in the Hub City, we could see 50 on Saturday. Sunday will be cooler, especially overnight with the wind chill making the temperature feel like the upper teens.
Monday:
Monday is likely to be the coldest day of the cold snap. Highs will struggle to make it out of the 30s. Jackson should top out around 39 Monday afternoon. The overnight low will be in the upper teens, with a light breeze causing a wind chill down to the lower teens, possibly even upper single digits. You will want to bundle up for Jackson’s Christmas parade.
Final Thoughts:
Atlantic Hurricane season officially ends tomorrow (Nov. 30). Layers will be your best friend over the course of the next several days. Stay warm and kick off the holiday season in spirit.
