Jackson celebrates Small Business Saturday
JACKSON, Tenn.—Small business Saturday was in full swing today in Jackson.
Several local shops offer unique finds, and great deals to celebrate all things small.
The shops at the LOCAL downtown kicked off things with lots of holiday décor to boost spirits, pop up vendors, food options and more.
Some of the businesses that participated included Sprinkle Me Sugar, Grinning Soul Crochet, Garden of Zo, and many others.
Downtown Development was also at the event handing out stickers to those who made purchases to show their support.
“We have several events going on downtown so that folks will come and shop and eat downtown. So at the LOCAL here on Lafayette Street, we have out tenants that are set up with special deals from 10 to 2 today and then we have a couple pop up vendors as well,” said Beth Ann Simpson, Director of Downtown Development.
Small Business Saturday is an annual event that invites residents to forgo the big box stores and keep things closer to home.
