Coldest Weather So Far Ahead, Warmer For The Weekend

As the fronts moved in last night and early Thursday the coldest weather this fall will be moving on in. The wind chill this morning will be between 10-20° so please layer up. The actual high today will make it into the low to mid 30s but it will feel below 25° all day due to the stiff northerly breeze. We will bottom out in the upper teens Friday morning with windchills in the upper single digits before temperatures slowly recover into the weekend. There will be rain showers back for most of us this weekend as well and we will have the latest forecast details coming up right here.

Thursday highs will only make it to the mid 30s from the brisk northerly wind. We should see the sun dominate most of the day on Thursday but it will be cold all day long.

With that being said, be sure to dress for very cold weather and especially tonight as temperatures will fall very quickly with windchills in the lower teens by around 8 to 9 pm.

High temperatures will try to warm up a bit on Friday but not much. The winds will still come out of the north most of the day allowing highs to only reach the low 40s. Friday night lows will fall down to the mid 20s and expect mostly sunny skies on Friday.

THE WEEKEND:

This weekend we are going to see a little bit of a warm up due to the winds returning back to the south and southwest. Highs on Saturday will reach the low 50s and Sunday night will make it back up above normal for the first time in a while up to the upper 50s. Saturday night will be warm and drop down to around 50°. This will be from the southerly winds and increase in the dew point from some moisture streaming up from the south. The next system will come through on Sunday and bring a round of rain showers with it. There is a chance for a few storms to mix in but there appears to be a better chance for thunderstorms on Monday as the next system passes by. There is a chance for some severe weather on Monday so we will be watching that closely as the week goes by. Expect a partly cloudy day on Saturday, mostly cloudy day on Sunday and cloudy skies for next Monday.
