SWHRA hosts annual Christmas Open House

HENDERSON, Tenn. — One local organization is ready to bring in the holidays.

The Southwest Human Resource Agency hosted their annual Christmas Open House, called “Deck the Halls at SWHRA.”  It was held at the organization’s location on White Avenue in Henderson Thursday, giving the public a chance to stop by and see what the organization is all about.

Leaders say having this event is also a way to show appreciation to the staff for all the work they do year-round

“Thanks to all of our staff that work here in the central office and all the staff that work in the outlying offices all around. We’ve got a lot of different things going on here — a lot of moving parts,” said Mike Smith, executive director for SWHRA.

Leaders with SWHRA say they look forward to serving West Tennessee in the upcoming new year.
