Ice skating rink in Lexington opens for 3rd year
LEXINGTON, Tenn. — Residents in Henderson County are hitting the ice! The Henderson County Chamber of Commerce presents its 3rd annual ice skating rink to the community.

This year, it’s being held at Kiddie Land at the Fairgrounds in Lexington. The ice skating rink is a way for kids to enjoy the magical experience of Christmas time. Admission is $10 dollars.
“Be on the lookout for different fun promotional nights. We’ll have folks out here with hot chocolates. This upcoming weekend our LHS presents a ‘Christmas on the Square.’ So, there’ll be vendors all the way around our court square and we’ll be open tomorrow. So it should be a fun event,” said Kristina Anderson, executive director for the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce.
And there’s more fun to come! Anderson says on New Year’s Eve they will have their annual balloon drop at 7 p.m. so families can enjoy time together before the official countdown.
