Shoppers search for deals at Christmas at the Walk

JACKSON, Tenn.—One event downtown is helping residents pick up those holiday gifts.

The shops of Jackson Walk teamed up to host ‘Christmas at the Walk’ today.

The shopping extravaganza began at 10 this morning and continued until 4 this afternoon at 7 Jackson Walk Plaza.

The special sale included a day full of perusing the deals at shops of the walk and local pop up vendors.

Some of the vendors participating included: What’s More to Love, Tiny Owl Stationary, The Nine Oh Six, Nature’s Pup Bakery, Hello Grace, and several others.

Shoppers could check several items off their holiday list. Items available at the market included handmade cards, candles, mugs, jewelry and baked goods. There were also clothing and accessories vendors present.

There were even activities for the kids. They could write letters to Santa and place them in the special mail drop-off.

Guests also enjoyed music from a live DJ and Turntable Coffee Counter was there to offer delicious snacks and beverages.

“I’m a small business owner. So I’m a huge supporter of small businesses. I love to try to give people an opportunity to sell what they make. So at Christmas at the Walk we feature artisan vendors so there’s a lot of people that have made things. There’s some vintage booths. But, I make my things. I make indigo things here at my shop, so again I love to support those things,” said Lisa Garner, event organizer, Christmas at the Walk.
