Local theaters invite community to free holiday classics

LEXINGTON, Tenn. — What better way to enjoy the holidays than a classic Christmas film on the big screen — at no cost?

The Princess Theatre of Lexington and Strand Theatre of Tiptonville will be showing a variety of holiday movies for free this season.

You can choose from a selection of three favorites — “The Grinch (2018)”, “It’s A Wonderful Life,” and “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.”

See the schedule for each theater below:

• The Grinch (PG) – 12/15 at 6:00pm
• It’s A Wonderful Life (NR) – 12/22 at 7:15pm
• Christmas Vacation (PG-13) – 12/23 at 7:15pm

• The Grinch (PG) – 12/15 at 3:00pm
• Christmas Vacation (PG-13) – 12/15 at 7:15pm
• It’s A Wonderful Life (NR) – 12/22 at 7:15pm

The Princess is located at 72 South Main Street in Lexington, while The Strand is located at 222 Church Street in Tiptonville.
