Runners ‘get ugly’ for charity

JACKSON, Tenn.—-Runners get ugly to raise money for a great cause.

Fleet Feet of Jackson presents its Ugly Holiday Sweater 5k and 1 Mile run Sunday.

This unique event invites participants to dress in their ugliest holiday sweaters to support a great charity.

Prior to the race, guests were invited to enjoy hot chocolate, the shoe decorating or coloring stations, photo booth, and check out their Hoka demo shoes.

The run started at 3 in the afternoon. Entry for the race was 10 dollars or each runner could bring in a toy.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Isiah House.
