Car crash brings traffic to halt in east Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — A wreck in east Jackson ends with a car in a ditch.

Around 8:45 p.m. Monday, we received a call about a wreck near the corner of FE Wright Drive and Roosevelt Parkway.

According to the Jackson Police Department’s Atlas One app, there were injuries due to the crash, however, details are limited regarding the extent or number of injuries.

While authorities cleared the scene, traffic was backed up going southbound. The cause of the wreck has not been confirmed at this time. We reached out to the Jackson Police Department for more information, but they were not immediately available for comment.
