Law enforcement, crime tape spotted at Madison County residence

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — A heavy law enforcement presence drew attention in southeast Madison County over the weekend.

WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News Tipsters alerted us to the scene on Watlington Road Sunday evening.

Our crew arrived around 5 p.m. to find several Madison County Sheriff’s Office vehicles on site, as well as an ambulance.

Authorities could be seen outside of a residence where crime tape had been placed.

We reached out to the Sheriff’s Office, who declined to confirm any details due to an open investigation.
