‘1000-lb Sisters’ star pleads guilty to drug charges
ALAMO, Tenn. — ‘1,000-lb sisters’ star Amy Halterman was back in Crockett County General Sessions Court Thursday and pleaded guilty to charges of illegal possession of Schedule I drugs and illegal possession of Schedule VI drugs.
Halterman received a suspended sentence of 11 months and 29 days for each count with time served.
She was placed on supervised probation and ordered to complete a state certified drug and alcohol assessment. Halterman is also required to complete any recommendations that come from the assessment.
In addition, she is ordered to complete a state certified parenting class. The parenting class is in exchange for the dismissal of the two child endangerment charges for which she was also charged.
Halterman was also ordered to pay court costs and a $1,000 fine.
She was arrested with Brian Scott Lovvorne at the Tennessee Safari Park in September following Halterman’s claim that a camel bit her.

When authorities responded to the claim, Halterman and Lovvorne were arrested after law enforcement detected a strong odor of what appeared to be marijuana coming from the vehicle.
Lovvorne also pleaded guilty and received the same plea agreement.
