Deborah Ann Groves
Deborah Ann Groves, age 75 passed away on December 18, 2024 in Jackson, TN.
Deborah was born on December 18, 1949 in Virginia to the late Walter and Jacqueline Merkel Mullins. While she never had children of her own, she had a love for animals and always had cats, dogs, and other animals around her throughout her life. She was a talented artist and loved painting and drawing. She had a long career with the Fairfax County Virginia court system. Debbie was a wonderful sister and Aunt and she will be missed greatly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters Pamela Puckett (2024) and Denise Diana (2009).
She is survived by her two nieces and their families; JoLeigh (Marshall) Sutton, and Kathryn (Donald) Halsted; as well as her grandnephews and grandniece Cooper, William, and Beatrice Sutton.
The family is honoring her wishes for simplicity and will be accepting donations in her honor in lieu of a service and flowers. The family will hold a private casting ceremony to honor and celebrate her life.
