Warming Temps, Sun/Cloud Mix

Weather Update: Monday, December 23 —

A chilly start to the day with temps in the low to mid 30s. Continental Arctic high pressure will retreat  from the region slowly, It will remain the source of wind through the day from the SE. That factor will keep a chill to the air, though the air temperature will reach 50 around noon, then climb slowly to around 53.  Skies will be littered with clouds, possibly becoming partially overcast at times north of I-40 into the Ohio Valley. The rest of the atmospheric column will stay day enough to preclude any rain chance today, and most of Christmas Eve for that matter.
