Shoppers navigate Christmas Eve traffic for last-minute gifts
JACKSON, Tenn. — With one day ’til Christmas, many shoppers are still out trying to get those last minute gifts.
Stores are extremely busy during this time of year, and heavy traffic in and out of stores is to be expected.
Shoppers are visiting several stores to find the best deals and get the perfect present for their loved ones.
We spoke to several about the challenges of shopping on Christmas Eve.
“It’s been such a hassle trying to find gifts for everyone, but today is the deadline,” Vanessa Williams said.
“The selection’s been great,” said Shaundra Burton. “You would think with a lot of online shopping you wouldn’t be able to find much, but the selection’s been great. I mean, and everywhere I’ve been, the sales have been great. I’ve been to the mall; I’ve been everywhere up here, and every store has been offering some great, great sales.”
The countdown to Christmas is almost over folks! But, you still have time to get out there and get those last minute gifts if you haven’t already.
