12th annual Hub Classic Basketball Tournament begins Friday

JACKSON, Tenn. — The 12th annual Hub Classic Basketball Tournament starts Friday.

The event gathers local and regional high school basketball teams to compete for a good cause. Funds raised by the games go to support area relief ministries services. This includes their ‘Room in the Inn’ program which partners with churches to provide shelter and resources for those without housing.

Games will be held December 27, December 28 and December 30 at Liberty Tech High School.

Tickets are $10 and a 3 day game pass costs $27. Tickets will be sold at the door.

“The coaches love it, the players love it, the cheerleaders love it, the fans love it. So we appreciate being able to offer this to the community and they get to enjoy it as well,” said Fred McKinnie, executive director for Area Relief Ministries.

Friends, family and fans are encouraged to come on out and cheer!
